COURSE OVERVIEW
This is the follow-up to basic and fundamental course which provide participants with the additional key topics of CNC milling machine concepts with extension of contour programming, different type of coordinate system and cycles programming in CNC machine control. Participants would be exposed to the CNC milling components and features, thus strengthen their knowledge before entering advances course.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to: • Describe the components, features and principles operation of CNC Milling machine. • Write CNC programs according to the drawing given and perform part simulation. • Perform CNC milling operations such as work piece zero setting, tool setting, program editing and machining.

• Contour and polar coordinates programming. • Cycle programming. • Patterns programming. • Programming and machine application. • 4 axis programming.

PRE-REQUISITE
Knowledge in basic cutting process will be an added advantage.
